Kenley Taryn Driggers
March 24th 2010. 6 lbs 7 oz. 19 inches long
BJ and I went to the hospital Tuesday night being past my due date with pregnancy induced hypertension. We were so excited that my Dr was finally going to induce me and we wouldn't be leaving without our baby!
BJ was so excited he stayed up until 3 in the morning practically bouncing around.
I'm not quite sure what I expected, I was prepared to be there for a long time so it seemed to go super fast to me. By 5 pm on Wednesday when I was told it was time to push, I was feeling really nervous.
I had my mom and BJ in the delivery room with me and a ton of family in the waiting room. In between pushes, my mom would text everyone updates and BJ would update his facebook status. I got to know my nurse pretty well :)
Kenley was turned sideways which made for long, difficult pushing. It was exhausting. But when everyone suddenly got really excited I got a second wind.
When they laid this flailing little body on my chest it was so surreal, all I could do was stare. I'm still in awe that I could take part in creating such a perfect little person. We could just hold her and stare all day!

Such a cutie, all of you! Congrats on your beautiful girl, you both are going to be great parents. Yes even Bama! :)
