We bought the whole seat but only used the edge of it!

What does a non-romantic couple do for valentines day? You might ask.
Well for this couple, we were able to sit under the moonlight, lovingly hold hands, and enjoy some quality time at a Monster Truck show!
It. Was. Awesome.
It was a surprise for B.J. that I was really excited to do for him. I'm not the best at keeping in my secret surprises for him :) yay me!
I'm usually too much of a people watcher to really know whats going on at an event, but my eyes were glued to the arena for every race and I got excited every time they would rev the engines. Those giant-wheeled trucks don't have the best turning ability, but it's amazing what kinds of stunts they can perform.
And the little kids behind us "ooo"ing and "ah"ing while wearing cute ear covers that looked like giant tires were the icing on the cake. So cute!
(Here we are pictured with everyone's favorite truck "Grave Digger")

My sister Kari came over to watch Kenley for us. We took full advantage of it and went to Bruges Waffle and Frites (pronounced Freets- as seen on Man v. Food) in Salt Lake. Amazing. I recommend the cinnamon waffles.
I love having these new adventures with my man-boy and look forward to years to come of many more adventures. It was a good valentines day.
I kind of like you B.J.

Holl-A-day

We've moved! Hopefully the last time for very long time since I really like the house, and the area (plus I HATE the hassle of moving). Drake has a nice big, fenced backyard to play in and Kenley has a very cute little room for herself.
Our friend Tasha said it's a "happy little place" :)
I was excited to move to Holladay because my Aunt, Grandma and other family live here and have always told me how much they love it here.
We really got lucky finding this place, it's so close to work and school. There are a lot of young families too!
I am, however, a little worried about fitting in. What I mean by that is:
Our cars are an Accord and a Jetta + I haven't seen so many Subaru Outbacks with bike/snowboard racks in my life = I hope we can prove to be outdoorsy enough to play with these folks.
My morning jog in my sweater I've worn since high school and yesterdays mascara making me look at raccoon-y+ Tiny, beautiful women jogging in brand name sports attire in full makeup and hair done = Thank goodness for 24 hr gym memberships!
Our very modest furniture + the million dollar homes decorated to the 9's down the street = Holy inferiority batman!
We haven't even been here 2 weeks but I'm learning that Holladay is a whole new subculture of Utah that I never really knew about. People that have lived in Utah for years don't know exactly where it is, and misspell it like I did (but don't worry! know-it-all-BJ set me straight on the spelling)
Of course BJ is so excited about all the snowboarding peeps that I'm a little worried I wont see him at all in the winter months. But we're excited to be living in this cute place with our little fam and I'm especially excited to see what trouble I can get into here.
